Auto Damage Adjuster (Auto Insurance)

Location: Tampa/Pinellas, Florida; work is required in the listed territory and the role is not fully remote. The position may involve field, in-office, or remote work depending on operational requirements.

Salary: $32.05–$47.14 per hour, or approximately $64,575–$95,000 annually. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for candidates with an active adjuster's license in good standing.

What you will do

• Handle auto damage claims from assessment through prompt and accurate settlement.
• Evaluate vehicle damage and manage complex claims using technical and industry knowledge.
• Provide effective customer service and communicate clearly with customers and other stakeholders.
• Make detailed, well-supported decisions while managing multiple claims and priorities.
• Work flexibly across field, in-office, and remote settings as required by the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster or Appraiser license required.
• At least 12 months of auto damage experience and a demonstrated record of successful claims handling.
• Valid driver's license meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Mechanical aptitude, computer skills, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and sound decision-making.
• High school diploma or equivalent and strong verbal and written communication skills.
