Location: Brea, California, United States; field work with travel to customer properties and inspections required at least 50% of work time.

Salary: USD $76,829–$142,213 per year; typical California hiring range is $98,568–$120,473.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, document, and resolve moderate homeowner property claims.
• Conduct on-site inspections, take photographs and measurements, and prepare detailed damage estimates.
• Handle virtual claims using imagery and video technology while collaborating with vendors and insureds.
• Determine coverage, establish reserves within authority limits, and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate with insureds and representatives while managing claim files, expenses, and deadlines.
• Direct, monitor, and review files handled by independent adjusters when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required state-specific property claims licenses.
• Prior experience with estimating software such as Xactimate.
• Experience in property claims, customer service, construction, restoration, or mitigation; 3–5+ years of equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb ladders, inspect roofs, attics, and crawl spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel between multiple locations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime when business needs require it.
