IT Project Manager IV (Enterprise Platform Migration)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid with onsite work Tuesday–Thursday when required. Generally CST working hours with occasional early calls to offshore resources.

What you will do

• Lead an enterprise-wide program to decommission legacy messaging platforms and migrate applications to a modern messaging solution.
• Coordinate migration planning, execution, dependencies, milestones, and status across multiple application teams.
• Manage risks, issues, impediments, mitigation plans, governance, documentation, and reporting.
• Communicate program status and recommendations to executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration among Enterprise Architecture, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and application teams.
• Use Agile or SAFe Agile methods and tools including Jira, Confluence, Clarity, and Power BI.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Program Manager or IT Project Manager leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
• Proven experience with complex platform migrations or decommissioning programs involving multiple application teams.
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and modern application ecosystems.
• Strong communication, presentation, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Clarity, and Power BI, plus familiarity with Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP, PgMP, or an advanced degree is preferred.
