Manager, Program Finance – Hardware Products

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annual base compensation

What you will do

• Forecast hardware bookings, revenue, unit costs, and program margins with Program Management and Growth teams.
• Build and maintain unit economic models covering pricing, BOMs, labor, overhead, yield, and scrap.
• Monitor manufacturing output, production variances, cost structures, and raw material, work-in-progress, and finished-goods inventory.
• Estimate fielded-unit sustainment costs and maintain pricing models for sustainment and software revenue.
• Develop auditable financial models for pricing, proposals, make-or-buy, sourcing, and capital equipment decisions.
• Own product-level P&L reporting and explain monthly and quarterly variances to Finance and Operations leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, consulting, or analytical roles, ideally in manufacturing or technology.
• Working knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and translate complex data into actionable insights.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in a finance-related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or technology-driven production environments.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or Datarails.
