Senior People Business Partner, Engineering

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States; significant working-hours overlap with US Central or East Coast time zones. Quarterly travel is required for Engineering and PBP offsites and collaborative forums.

United States base salary: $115,200–$194,400 USD annually. The range applies to US residents and excludes bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with VPs and Senior Directors in Engineering to translate organizational priorities and challenges into people and business priorities.
• Drive job architecture changes, including new levels, role expectations, and career paths.
• Lead Engineering people processes such as calibrations in partnership with PBP and Talent Management teams.
• Advise leaders on organization design, change management, global teams, and regional considerations in EMEA.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and recommend actions that improve effectiveness, engagement, and performance.
• Support Engineering offsites, leadership forums, and talent initiatives aligned with business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience as a People Business Partner or in a similar role supporting Engineering or technical organizations in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Experience partnering with Senior Directors and VPs, building trusted relationships, influencing decisions, and providing data-informed guidance.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones, including EMEA.
• Demonstrated ability to support organizational change, transformation, job architecture updates, leadership transitions, organizational design, and culture initiatives.
• Strong coaching, communication, collaboration, asynchronous working, and business acumen skills.
• Ability to work with significant overlap during US Central or East Coast hours and travel quarterly for offsites and collaborative forums.
