Senior People Business Partner (AI)

Location: New York, NY; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Base salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders to connect business strategy with talent, team, and organizational priorities.
• Coach managers and executives on performance, feedback, career development, team health, and complex employee situations.
• Lead investigations, mediations, performance management, exits, and other sensitive People matters with sound judgment and documentation.
• Own organizational design, role scoping, leveling, and workforce planning, including modeling and headcount tradeoffs.
• Support restructures, transitions, succession planning, engagement action plans, retention, internal mobility, and compensation decisions.
• Use people data and AI to build tools, automations, and insights that improve People processes and organizational decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering or a similar strategic People role.
• Experience supporting senior leaders through growth and organizational change.
• Strong coaching, judgment, communication, data analysis, and workforce-planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, complex employee situations, restructures, and competing priorities.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, headcount data, AI experimentation, and technology-enabled process improvement.
• Ability to work from the New York office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
