ServiceNow Developer (AI)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be local to the Washington, DC area; East Coast core hours required

What you will do

• Support the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, ITAM, CMDB, HAM, and HRSD.
• Configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, environments, releases, and production activities.
• Gather and document business and system requirements, use cases, testing procedures, project documentation, and status reports.
• Support automation workflows, unit testing, system integrations, and ServiceNow Suite modules.
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors to support project delivery and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of ServiceNow experience or foundational knowledge of the platform’s architecture and capabilities.
• Basic familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM concepts.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/Glide, HTML5, jQuery, and CSS.
• Must be local to the Washington, DC area and able to work East Coast core hours.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to support one project reliably.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certifications.
• AngularJS exposure.
• Knowledge of AI integration in ServiceNow, including Now Assist and AI Agents.
• Experience with system integrations, automation workflows, third-party LLM APIs, or automated test frameworks.
