Location: Conover, North Carolina, United States; some local travel and occasional nontraditional hours may be required.

Salary: $20.00–$20.19 per hour

What you will do

• Provide career guidance, case management, follow-up, and job-search assistance to program participants.
• Conduct interviews and assessments, confirm eligibility, and develop individualized service strategies and employment plans.
• Provide referrals and resources addressing barriers such as childcare, transportation, financial management, and parenting skills.
• Maintain accurate participant records, eligibility files, case notes, referrals, and outcomes in the case management system.
• Conduct workshops, presentations, orientations, outreach activities, and community education.
• Support job placement, on-the-job training, work experience assignments, and related community and business events.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with participants.
• Accurate reporting and timely case documentation.
• Knowledge of community social services and support agencies.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret reports.
• Demonstrated work experience in a related area.
• A bachelor's degree in human resources, behavioral science, social work, or a related field is preferred.
