Senior Principle, Transportation Optimization (Logistics)

Location: Remote, Wisconsin, United States

Salary: $170,000–$220,000 per year, commensurate with experience

hirify.global is hiring for an enterprise transportation optimization leadership role supporting domestic and global operations.

What you will do

• Develop and execute enterprise transportation strategies aligned with growth, customer service, and profitability objectives.
• Lead transportation network design, optimization, cost-to-serve modeling, scenario analysis, and resiliency initiatives.
• Evaluate and design transportation operating models, including Control Tower, 4PL, MSP, internally managed, and hybrid solutions.
• Build business cases, financial models, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and provider accountability structures.
• Own the transportation technology roadmap and lead selection and implementation of TMS, visibility, optimization, freight audit and payment, and analytics platforms.
• Lead cross-functional transformation, continuous improvement, executive reporting, change management, and benefits realization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain strategy, network design, distribution, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading transportation optimization and transformation initiatives.
• Experience evaluating and implementing Control Tower, 4PL, MSP, and transportation technology solutions.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, business case development, cross-functional leadership, and executive stakeholder influence skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• APICS/ASCM CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with enterprise-wide optimization, transformation, continuous improvement, and complex multi-site global supply chain networks.
