Senior Cloud Engineer (AI/IoT)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Seattle office; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure for AI and IoT ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to automate environments and reduce manual work.
• Manage production Kubernetes clusters, including health, scaling, and performance optimization.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for automated deployments across multiple environments.
• Engineer secure, low-latency networking between cloud infrastructure and physical units in the field.
• Build internal tooling, improve monitoring and alerting, lead technical design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience engineering complex environments in AWS and deep knowledge of core AWS services.
• Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• Advanced Terraform expertise and a strong automation mindset.
• Experience using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for GitOps and deployment lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of VPCs, VPNs, routing, and security protocols.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash, plus the ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
