CAM Claims Processor III

Location: Hybrid position in Getzville, New York, United States of America

What you will do

• Monitor workflow reports and process conventional claims within investor, insurer, statutory, regulatory, and service-level requirements.
• Review claim accuracy, supporting invoices, loan histories, advances, deposits, refunds, and insurance proceeds.
• Research and reconcile losses, final loss allocations, refunds, and loan records before advancing claims to the next processing phase.
• Coordinate with Mortgage Insurance, Hazard, Foreclosure, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Evictions, Collections, Property Preservation, and other internal departments.
• Respond to attorney loan-level requests and submit reviewed claims to investors.
• Maintain accurate systems, compliance controls, internal control standards, and audit-related actions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of default experience.
• Knowledge of claim types including short sales, foreclosure claims, third-party claims, charge-offs, security claims, loss mitigation claims, and deed-in-lieu claims.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with internal M&T Bank departments and external attorney firm vendors.
• Ability to work in the hybrid position based in Getzville, New York, United States of America.

Nice to have

• Five years of default experience.
• Full processing knowledge of all disposition types.
• Knowledge of M&T Bank systems.
