Location: Remote within the USA
Salary: $24–$26 per hour

What you will do
- Process acute hospital UB-04 and rural health clinic CMS-1500 claims.
- Coordinate patient billing, credit and collections, data entry, payer relations, and insurance claim preparation.
- Follow up on third-party approvals, billing issues, and overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate, timely billing and consistently meet production and quality assurance standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and billing controls.
- Support team projects and assist with coaching, training, and employee management activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of full-cycle billing experience covering both acute hospital and physician professional-fee claims.
- Experience with claims and denial work queues.
- Required experience with eClinicalWorks EMR.
- Required familiarity with Commercial, Workers’ Compensation, and VA claims.
- Strong organization, multitasking, time management, critical thinking, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- High school diploma or equivalent education and relevant experience.
