Mechanical Engineer-Maintenance & Reliability (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Charleston, West Virginia, United States

Expected compensation: $77,270–$113,322 per year, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Evaluate mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Coordinate equipment inspections, condition monitoring, and non-destructive testing activities.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support mechanical integrity programs and compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams on reliability and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, mechanical integrity, or industrial/manufacturing operations.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, root cause investigations, and reliability improvement methods.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pumps, piping, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
