Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs for CNC machines, robotics, and automated systems.
• Implement predictive maintenance strategies using condition monitoring and equipment data.
• Analyze equipment performance, improve uptime, reduce failures, and extend asset life.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
• Manage CMMS workflows, maintenance scheduling, work-order data, dashboards, KPIs, procedures, and documentation.
• Support technicians, equipment commissioning, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and cross-functional reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in CNC, manufacturing, or automation maintenance and reliability.
• Strong understanding of CNC machines, PLCs, and industrial systems.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with vibration analysis, thermography, IoT monitoring, or other predictive maintenance tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with FANUC, Siemens, Haas, or other CNC and automation platforms.
• Experience in high-mix or high-end manufacturing.
