Maintenance Manager (Waste-to-Energy)

Salary: $105,730–$157,309 annually

What you will do

• Lead the maintenance team, including mechanics, welders, and electrical and instrumentation technicians.
• Set maintenance and reliability strategies, including five-year plans, budgets, metrics, and cost-management structures.
• Direct work management, outage planning, shutdown execution, and maintenance activities against defined scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Drive safety, environmental stewardship, reliability, and continuous-improvement initiatives across the site.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and solutions for repetitive equipment failures.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, quality, EHS, and corporate technical groups to resolve equipment and maintenance issues.

Requirements

• At least five years of supervisory experience in waste-to-energy, power, industrial, chemical plant, or comparable maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance and reliability practices, budgeting, spare-parts inventory, work management, planning and scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, the National Electrical Code, and NFPA Arc Flash safety regulations.
• Experience planning and leading major maintenance outages and working with chemical process equipment design, repair, maintenance, reliability, failure modes, or inspection.
• Familiarity with Mechanical Integrity, Quality Assurance, RCFA, FMEA, Lean, 5S, ALM/PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead teams, implement improvements, manage change, and communicate effectively across functions.
