Sr. Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Location: US - WV - Parkersburg; onsite at the Washington Works manufacturing facility

Salary: $110,544.00–$172,725.00 annually; annual bonus target: 11%

What you will do

• Serve as an electrical engineer within the Central Maintenance Engineering Organization and support an assigned production unit.
• Address short-term electrical and instrumentation issues to keep the plant operating.
• Support high-quality and efficient field execution of electrical maintenance work.
• Develop job plans, procedures, and execution standards while improving work standardization.
• Lead troubleshooting and support root cause analysis for larger events.
• Design and implement improvement projects up to $500,000, including smaller plant changes of design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering principles and experience troubleshooting technical problems.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems using data-based decisions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to wear required PPE, including steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, and respirators.

Nice to have

• Eight years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Root cause analysis experience.
• Experience specifying and implementing valves and instrumentation for flow, temperature, and pressure measurements.
