  • At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in a commercial mechanical or industrial assembly environment, or 10+ years as a mechanical drafter or designer in product development or manufacturing.
  • Advanced SolidWorks proficiency, including hands-on experience with the 3DExperience change-order system, plus strong CAD documentation and drawing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5, tolerance analysis, mechanics, materials, manufacturing processes, and ISO/ANSI drafting standards.
  • Experience working with legacy designs, backward compatibility, installed-base impact, and requalification requirements.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time regular employment based in an engineering, laboratory, and production environment.
  • Hands-on work with scientific instruments, including standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching inside enclosures, and occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds.
  • Training and compliance support, with opportunities to develop within the role.
  • Performance-related incentive eligibility and employee benefits may be available.
  • Work with a diverse global team while maintaining a focus on operational excellence, accuracy, and technical communication.

Hiring process

  • Interviewed candidates are screened before interviews for eligibility under export control restrictions.
