Finance Operations Intern (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Chicago, Illinois, or Rogers, Arkansas, United States. Full-time, 40 hours per week from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.

What you will do

• Consolidate slides for monthly financial operating reviews and collect stakeholder commentary.
• Coordinate with responsible parties to resolve open items and verify chart data accuracy.
• Support Sales, Operations, and Finance business partners.
• Learn the functions of Billing, Collections, Cash Applications, Audits, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Follow finance policies and identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, ad hoc analysis, intern meetings, seminars, and the capstone project.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Chicago, Illinois, or Rogers, Arkansas.
• Must be available full-time for 40 hours per week from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data volumes.
• Ability to research discrepancies across multiple systems, communicate with business partners, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of accounting principles and terminology.
• Experience working under time pressure during month-end, year-end closing, or audits.
• Positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
