Associate Billing Specialist (Logistics)

What you will do

• Prepare and review customer invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Research billing discrepancies, answer customer questions, and resolve routine issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Support, and Sales on billing inquiries and customer experience.
• Review contracts, rates, billing terms, and billing data to verify customer charges.
• Process approved adjustments, credits, refunds, payment reminders, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Maintain accurate billing records and suggest improvements to billing tools, processes, and workflows.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, finance, customer support, or a related role; relevant coursework or internships are welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas, sorting, and filtering.
• Ability to learn new systems and tools; familiarity with billing or ERP systems is useful.
• Clear communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
