What you will do

• Optimize, maintain, and harden defect metrology equipment for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing and leading-edge logic nodes.
• Perform statistical analysis and create visualizations for process development roadmaps.
• Analyze process, defect, electrical, and other large-scale manufacturing data to support yield modeling and process improvements.
• Develop tools, systems, custom algorithms, and AI/ML applications to identify yield limiters and improve patterning solutions.
• Transform experimental and manufacturing data into yield enhancement actions and ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with equipment development, operations, automation, manufacturing, process engineering, integration, and yield teams.

Requirements

• On-site presence in Arizona, United States is required.
• At least 3 months of experience with yield and defect metrology equipment such as KLA, AMAT, ASML HMI, TEL, Keysight, Advantest, or Hitachi.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, science, statistics, or data science field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, statistical process control, design of experiments, and statistical data analysis.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or metrology environment is required or relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree and 2+ years of applications experience with defect metrology tools.
• Programming experience with JMP/JSL, Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with laser optics, scanning electron microscopy, digital signal processing, or image processing.
• Experience in technical documentation, training, project management, new technology startups, or process/yield engineering.
