Application Engineer III (E3) (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States. The role involves customer-site work and approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year, plus applicable bonus and stock award opportunities.

What you will do

• Identify complex problems and customer needs, then drive solutions through implementation.
• Lead recipe creation to optimize system performance and train PSEs and application engineers in recipe development.
• Qualify new technologies and features through beta-site evaluations, customer demonstrations, and application testing.
• Create methodologies for optimizing system performance for specific applications.
• Transfer new application capabilities from the product division to customer application support teams.
• Participate in customer technical review meetings and follow up on solution execution.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Technical experience and judgment for analyzing solutions and solving problems in straightforward situations.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to provide informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to work at customer sites in Chandler, Arizona, and travel approximately 10% of the time.
