AI Methodologist

Location: Onsite at the customer office in Springfield, Virginia, United States; alternate work schedules, including night shifts, may be required.

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support NGA modernization initiatives in alignment with DoD AI strategy and guidance.
• Design AI integration strategies that combine government-developed and commercial capabilities to accelerate intelligence workflows.
• Evaluate COTS AI platforms and determine when to use GOTS, COTS, or hybrid solutions in classified environments.
• Embed with intelligence teams to understand priority intelligence questions, translate expertise into AI requirements, and implement adoption plans.
• Develop AI implementation roadmaps, measure operational outcomes, and advise leadership on technology investments.
• Deliver analyst training, leadership briefings, demonstrations, and vendor or government technology engagements.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence requirements and/or willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
• 15+ years of intelligence analysis experience in a U.S. military or Intelligence Community environment.
• Bachelor's degree; hands-on experience applying AI and machine learning to real-world intelligence problems.
• Ability to code in Python and HTML and strong knowledge of NGA tools, tradecraft, GEOINT workflows, and object-based production.
• Experience as an imagery analyst, including Full Motion Video analysis and exploitation.
• Understanding of GOTS/COTS acquisition, classified integration, cloud architectures, API integration, security accreditation, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph, and a master's degree or PhD in intelligence analysis or a related field.
• Experience with NGA AI/MIL platforms, enterprise systems, imagery modalities, JOC or PED environments, and multi-INT fusion.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS, MAAS, GETS, DCGS tools, AIMES, Google Earth, data-mining tools, and NGA programs of record.
• Security+ certification or equivalent, plus experience with government acquisition and technology adoption.
