Data Engineer III (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in San Bruno, California, United States

US base salary: $106,000–$159,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve analytical data models and pipelines.
• Work across Engineering and Data teams to understand data sources and own data modeling.
• Support Product and Analytics with intuitive, performant, and high-quality data models.
• Contribute to technical designs and cross-functional engineering solutions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while applying agile principles.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL and ETL.
• 2+ years of experience with dbt.
• Experience collaborating and prioritizing work across a broad organization.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization in the United States now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting software in healthcare.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming in Python or Go.
• Experience mentoring analysts and engineers in SQL optimization and data best practices.
