Annual salary: $149,600–$211,200 USD.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and integrate software across firmware, device drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, applications, and user interfaces.
• Develop and support reference platforms and product-specific software solutions for next-generation computing systems.
• Test, validate, debug, and optimize software to improve reliability, quality, and performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, architecture, validation, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze system requirements, contribute to software architecture and code reviews, and troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
• Support products throughout the software lifecycle from concept and design through deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with 6+ years of experience; or a master’s degree with 4+ years; or a PhD.
• At least 2 years of experience with SORT/test handler software, module-integrated software, and backend automation systems.
• In-depth understanding of SORT stakeholders and system integration requirements.
• Programming experience with .NET.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from an assigned site in Hillsboro, Oregon or Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Experience in test development and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with handler software, module-integrated software, and backend automation systems.
• Experience with software release, validation, optimization, supplier software integration, and process improvement.
• Experience troubleshooting and enhancing legacy and new software solutions.
