Global Real Estate Operations Lead

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $292,000–$392,000 per year

What you will do

• Set and execute the global workplace operations strategy, including service models, staffing, budgets, and operating standards.
• Own workplace and facilities services across the portfolio, including maintenance, landlord relationships, health and safety coordination, employee services, and issue resolution.
• Build and lead a geographically distributed workplace operations team, defining responsibilities and developing leaders.
• Manage workplace and facilities providers, scopes, performance measures, commercial expectations, and escalations.
• Lead the workplace integration of acquired businesses and readiness for new offices, moves, and expansions.
• Oversee outsourced leasing, design, construction, office projects, budgets, risks, dependencies, and operational handover.

Requirements

• Progressive experience leading workplace and facilities operations across multiple countries.
• Experience setting operating strategies, building scalable systems, and making independent decisions in fast-moving environments.
• Strong people leadership across geographically dispersed teams, including hiring, coaching, delegation, and performance management.
• Expertise in provider and landlord management, financial planning, facilities operations, and health and safety requirements.
• Working knowledge of leasing, real estate transactions, design, and construction sufficient to oversee specialist delivery.
• Experience opening offices, managing significant workplace transitions, integrating acquired offices, or supporting distributed professional-services businesses.

Nice to have

• Experience at a third-party facilities or real estate firm followed by in-house leadership at a fast-growing technology company, or an equivalent operational background.
• Experience establishing and managing regional office sites while accounting for local work practices and operational nuances.
