Director, Electronic Trading (Crypto)

Location: New York City, NY

Base pay: $289,000–$366,000 per year, plus performance-linked bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Found and lead the electronic trading sales franchise, including go-to-market strategy, target segments, pricing, and coverage.
• Bring existing electronic and algorithmic trading relationships to hirify.global and win new clients across spot, derivatives, FX, and financing.
• Guide clients through KYC, credit approval, and technical integration, then grow their trading flow and wallet share.
• Translate client needs into product requirements, including venues, order types, and connectivity options.
• Partner with Trading, Product, Engineering, and Risk on pricing, limits, credit, capacity, and profitable growth.
• Represent hirify.global at conferences, client events, and industry forums while monitoring market structure and regulation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electronic trading sales experience at a bank, broker-dealer, prime broker, exchange, or trading venue.
• A large, established book of electronic and algorithmic trading clients, with the ability to bring meaningful flow.
• Technical fluency in FIX and API connectivity, latency, execution quality, TCA, and market microstructure.
• Existing relationships with hedge funds, quantitative and systematic funds, market makers, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, or banks.
• Leadership experience or readiness to lead and hire, with strong pricing, credit, risk, communication, and negotiation judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, always-on market and engage senior trading and C-level clients.

Nice to have

• Direct crypto or digital-asset experience across spot, perpetuals, futures, and options.
• Knowledge of prime brokerage, financing, and portfolio margining.
• A global client network, particularly across EMEA and APAC.
