TL;DR
BIM Technician I (BIM): Creating and maintaining detailed 3D BIM models, layouts, drawings, schedules, and documentation for mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration, technology, and electrical systems with an accent on Revit-based model production, BIM standards, and model quality. Focus on implementing BIM Execution Plans, maintaining model health and integrity, coordinating with project teams and clients, and supporting engineering calculations.
Location: Onsite in Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas/Plano, Lenexa, or Houston, United States. Occasional travel of 10–15% may be required.

What you will do
- Create and maintain detailed BIM models, layouts, details, schedules, drawings, and related documents for building systems.
- Review and implement BIM Execution Plans, project standards, workflows, and documentation.
- Set up, maintain, and assess the health, accuracy, integrity, and compliance of 3D models.
- Support engineering calculations and contribute to the development of organizational BIM standards.
- Coordinate BIM-related requirements with clients, architects, designers, and project teams.
- Participate in business-development activities, client meetings, industry events, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in BIM/CAD technology or two years of relevant BIM experience is required.
- Fundamental knowledge of the architecture and engineering industry, applicable codes, design guides, standards, BIM technology, and software interoperability.
- Basic proficiency with Revit and proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Basic proficiency with Imaginit Clarity and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 is preferred.
- Clear verbal and written communication, problem-solving ability, technical aptitude, and collaborative working skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified.
- English communication skills are required.
