Consultant Supply Chain Optimization (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Nieuwegein, Netherlands; candidates must currently reside in the Netherlands and have previous professional experience there.

Salary: €3,500–€5,000 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Contribute to supply chain optimization initiatives using advanced optimization and AI tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop demonstration scenarios and proof of concepts for prospective clients.
• Collaborate with planning, optimization, AI, and supply chain software experts in the cross-border OptimAI team.
• Share expertise within the OptimAI community and support team growth.
• Identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement with an entrepreneurial approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in econometrics, applied economics, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineering, commercial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Experience with advanced supply chain optimization platforms.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills, with experience mentoring and collaborating in diverse customer-centric teams.
• Current residence in the Netherlands and previous professional experience in the country.
• Fluency in English and Dutch required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the IT sector or an IT-related background.
• Experience with DELMIA Quintiq or More Optimal.
