Senior Program Manager (AI)

Location: New York City or the surrounding area, USA. Remote and hybrid work options are available depending on country, but candidates for this role must be based in New York or the surrounding area.

Salary: USD 150,000–170,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform and cloud transformation programs from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, cloud platforms, governance, QA, DevOps, and business functions.
• Translate client objectives into milestone-based delivery plans with acceptance criteria and secure formal sign-off.
• Manage program scope, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, quality, governance, and operational readiness.
• Establish delivery governance, including RAID management, decision tracking, weekly cadence, and executive steering.
• Mentor project managers and improve project management standards, processes, and delivery scalability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of program or senior project management experience in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Experience applying AI across the SDLC and program delivery with professional judgment, human oversight, and responsible AI practices.
• Advanced experience in planning, scope management, timelines, resourcing, risk management, budgeting, fixed-fee delivery, and milestone-gated commercial models.
• Knowledge of cloud data platform and migration programs; GCP is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, and governance tooling.
• Experience managing multi-country, multi-timezone teams, remote delivery performance, handoffs, and cross-location dependencies.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, data literacy, and stakeholder-management skills.
