Staff Solutions Architect, AI Subject Matter Expert (AI)

What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for a specialized product group across complex enterprise opportunities, from discovery and architecture through trials and Proof of Value evaluations.
• Lead technical deep dives, workshops, executive briefings, product demonstrations, and competitive evaluations.
• Design repeatable Proof of Value templates, success criteria, reference architectures, demo environments, battlecards, and enablement playbooks.
• Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Post-Sales Solutions Architects on launches, escalations, integrations, adoption, and production usage.
• Bring customer requirements, field feedback, and competitive insights into product and engineering decisions.
• Mentor Account Solutions Architects and contribute to the global SME community of practice.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering, with deep expertise in application security, cloud and hybrid platforms, CI/CD and migrations, or production AI-assisted development.
• Practical experience with agentic and AI-assisted development workflows across planning, coding, testing, security, and delivery.
• Experience winning technical decisions in large enterprise opportunities through structured PoC or PoV evaluations with defined success criteria and executive sign-off.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
• Ability to lead technical whiteboard sessions with engineers and present business cases to executives.
• Strong written communication and ability to work asynchronously across time zones with Sales, Product, and Engineering.

• Public speaking, published technical content, open source contributions, or certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security.
