Configuration Analyst I (Healthcare)

Location: Tempe, Arizona; work is on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or another company location, with remote work available only with management approval based on business requirements. The role requires regular coordination with employees, clients, vendors, and stakeholders and may involve domestic travel.

Salary: $22.24–$28.90–$35.57 per hour.

What you will do

• Configure pharmacy, formulary, and benefit plans based on client change requests.
• Complete preassessment, design, configuration, and Level 1 and 2 in-unit testing activities.
• Analyze hirify.global system logic, claims adjudication constraints, conflicting benefit configurations, and coding table designs.
• Research and troubleshoot basic to moderately complex claims-processing issues and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with clients, internal business partners, and peers to clarify, document, test, and deliver requirements.
• Validate configuration designs, complete documentation, and meet assigned delivery dates.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to run SQL queries and script loads.
• Ability to gather business requirements, interpret detailed instructions, solve standardized problems, and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime as required.
• Pharmacy Technician License or national certification is preferred.
