Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States, CST - Zone 3

What you will do

• Write requirements for minor software changes based on company guidelines, client needs, and legislative requirements.
• Analyze programming changes, system enhancements, bug fixes, and version upgrades; test and verify their accuracy.
• Analyze data files, identify issues, and design, generate, and evaluate reports, queries, and system procedures.
• Coordinate software changes with programmers, vendors, and clients to support quality delivery.
• Assist with new client implementations and provide technical support, training, and problem resolution to end users.
• Document system and client support processes.

Requirements

• Remote work must be performed in the United States within CST - Zone 3.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a third-party administrator environment with applicable technical expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and an understanding of database systems.
• Understanding of business practices and project management methodology.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or two years of technical training.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience supporting or developing applications in an IBM Series I environment.
• Experience in healthcare, third-party administration, or Taft-Hartley businesses.
