Early Careers - Systems Analyst Intern (Downers Grove)

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois; internship may also be located in Chicago, Illinois or Richardson, Texas. Flex employees are expected to work in the office at least three days per week.

Base pay: $19.13–$34.17 per hour.

What you will do

• Participate in a formal ten-week internship program and support business and technical projects.
• Own assigned project components and deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Support initiatives that improve business outcomes and member and client experience.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation covering the project, results, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising senior, preferably in computer science, information technology, or information systems.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Available for the full ten-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, .NET, XML, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Robot Process Automation experience.
• Prior technical internship or work experience.
• Volunteer, leadership, IT association, or technical competition experience.
• Practical experience with Office 365 and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
