Analyst I Software Engineering

Location: Remote within the continental United States; Connecticut preferred. Applicants must be legal US citizens residing on US soil. Puerto Rico is not eligible.

Salary: $50,500–$93,800 per year

What you will do

• Gather requirements from business leaders and users and document project goals and technical specifications.
• Analyze software architectures to identify performance issues, security gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Create functional designs, user stories, and Software Requirement Specification documents.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and communicate business needs to developers.
• Participate in code reviews, coordinate defect tracking with quality assurance teams, and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with programming and query languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or C#, plus database management.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience; senior analyst paths may require 3–5+ years of technical or software development experience.
• Must be ITAR-compliant, provide proof of citizenship, and pass a background check and drug test.
