Russian Localization Specialist (remote)

What you will do

• Provide language support for game and manga localization across multiple markets.
• Translate, proofread, post-edit machine translations, and perform linguistic quality assurance for in-game and external content.
• Conduct localization testing and track issues through documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
• Monitor player feedback and apply knowledge of local language and culture to improve the game experience.
• Support online and offline game events and contribute to community development.
• Create concepts and content for marketing and promotional initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent Russian and Simplified Chinese; native proficiency in either language is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Experience or ability in Chinese-to-Russian localization, including translation, proofreading, MTPE, and LQA.
• Strong understanding of anime, manga, gaming culture, game writing conventions, and local player preferences.
• Excellent research, information synthesis, teamwork, communication, execution, and self-management skills.

Nice to have

• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for hirify.global titles.
• Native proficiency in Russian or Simplified Chinese.
