Quality Manager

Location: Liverpool, NY, US; onsite plant-based role

Salary: $96,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage quality, environmental, health, and food safety programs within the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement action plans aligned with corporate and customer standards.
• Maintain manufacturing quality systems, shop-floor data collection, customer quality reporting, and quality checklists.
• Analyze production and incident data, investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Lead customer quality interactions, audits, product testing, certification processes, and responses to customer concerns.
• Coordinate EHS communications, employee training, safety audits, product testing, calibration, and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, statistics, or engineering.
• Seven years of experience in corrugated manufacturing operations.
• Five years of experience with lean manufacturing tools, including root cause analysis, Five Whys, and process FMEA.
• Experience with food safety and managing food programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as necessary and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required.

Nice to have

• Certified Quality Engineer qualification.
• Food safety certification such as HACCP.
• Exposure to manufacturing shop-floor, statistics, and quality software.
