Salary: USD $23.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Review, monitor, and manage accounts involved in bankruptcy proceedings, including account research, customer requests, holds, status updates, and automatic-stay compliance.
• Prepare case notes and bankruptcy documentation, including proofs of claim, reaffirmation agreements, discharge paperwork, and legal submissions.
• Coordinate with courts, trustees, attorneys, customers’ legal representatives, and internal departments.
• Track case statuses, recoveries, risks, payment plans, settlements, payoffs, and account adjustments.
• Support bankruptcy policies, procedures, loss mitigation, debt recovery, and customer inquiries by phone and email.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in bankruptcy, loan servicing, collections, or a related field.
• Proficiency with loan servicing or case management software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and internet software.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines, follow direction, adapt to change, and attend work regularly.
