Senior Manager, Collections

What you will do

• Own end-to-end performance of assigned late-stage delinquency portfolios, including liquidation, recoveries, collection effectiveness, and portfolio health.
• Analyze intraday, daily, weekly, and monthly operational, financial, and portfolio data to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
• Execute and optimize collection treatments, workflows, recovery efforts, payment arrangements, and account-resolution initiatives.
• Partner with Workforce Management to align staffing, forecasting, workload distribution, and capacity planning with portfolio demand.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers responsible for multiple collections teams, including succession planning and leadership capability building.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and provide data-driven updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the New Castle, Delaware, United States location under the flexible hybrid arrangement.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in collections, servicing, financial services, or call center operations.
• 3+ years of experience leading multiple teams through managers or an equivalent leadership structure.
• Demonstrated success managing late-stage collections, recoveries, or high-delinquency portfolios.
• Strong analytical experience with operational reporting, performance analysis, intraday management, and business decision-making.
• Proven ability to improve liquidation rates, productivity, operational effectiveness, stakeholder alignment, and organizational performance.
