Manager, Operations Product Centers (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid in Troy, Michigan, United States; travel less than 25%

What you will do

• Lead the work of subordinate managers and supervisors across assigned operational functions.
• Translate business strategy into work programs, objectives, processes, and procedures.
• Manage staffing activities, performance evaluations, corrective actions, coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
• Prepare and present operational budgets and management reports.
• Coordinate resources and priorities across functional areas while resolving complex operational issues.
• Use financial data and performance indicators to establish controls, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least six years of experience in operations, including two years in a management position in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of investment concepts, banking and finance, securities operations, and financial markets and products.
• Experience with operational budgeting, policy interpretation, workflow development, management reporting, and process improvement.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and evaluate others while managing multiple priorities.
