Sr Operations Specialist, Account Transfers

Location: Tempe, United States. Other locations: Fort Mill/Charlotte.

Salary: $20.45–$34.12 per hour.

What you will do

• Review and initiate paper and electronic asset transfer requests for financial advisors.
• Research and reconcile outstanding ACAT and Non-ACAT transfers to ensure asset delivery.
• Communicate transfer status and relevant information to financial advisors, contra firms, vendors, and internal partners.
• Participate in root-cause problem-solving sessions and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure standard work is followed.
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for complex transfer-process inquiries.

Requirements

• Experience in the financial industry or in a high-volume, deadline-driven processing environment.
• Service-oriented approach when working with clients, other firms, service teams, offshore partners, and internal business units.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, changing demands, and tight deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Nice to have

• Post-secondary education or at least three years of brokerage operations experience.
• Account Transfers or ACAT experience.
• Experience with management principles focused on maximizing customer value and minimizing waste.
• Initiative, adaptability, decision-making skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
