Manager, Warehouse

Location: Enfield, Connecticut, United States. The role is onsite and requires 10%–15% domestic travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $81,100–$129,800 per year.

What you will do

• Manage warehouse facilities, hiring, training, safety, equipment, and overall warehouse functions.
• Coordinate shipping department workflows, attend daily performance meetings, analyze SAP productivity reports, errors, and schedules, and adjust operations.
• Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while supporting supervisors, leads, and associates on the shop floor.
• Improve workflow and long-term efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and regular audits of work instructions.
• Manage employee relations, timecards, workplace concerns, company policies, collective bargaining provisions, grievances, discipline, and contract compliance with Human Resources and union representatives.
• Set long-term departmental goals and communicate them through the leadership team.

Requirements

• Experience directly supervising employees in a union-represented warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, contract administration, grievance handling, work rules, and employee relations.
• At least 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience or equivalent education and training.
• At least 3 years of experience leading, motivating, coaching, and mentoring employees.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Warehouse Management System, and Workday.
• Ability to communicate effectively, solve practical problems, manage conflict, apply basic mathematical concepts, and maintain high safety standards.
