Area Manager II - Night Shift (Warehouse Operations)

What you will do

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily goals.
• Coordinate inventory accuracy, bin accuracy, shrink control, and order fulfillment activities.
• Work with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and operations leaders to resolve operational and personnel issues.
• Use workload planning tools, the Order Management System, WMS, and material handling equipment to complete scheduled work.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and variances while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with WMS or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage pressure and deadlines, and collaborate with all levels of management.
• Ability to transport up to 20 pounds, perform basic mathematical calculations, and use material handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Ability to work in a distribution center with varying heights and temperatures, consistent moderate noise, and occasional overtime or non-standard hours.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process-improvement methods.
