What you will do

• Interview customers to assess service needs, gather occupational information, and explore employment and training opportunities.
• Provide career advisement, referrals, placement support, and employment retention services.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and update individualized service and employment plans.
• Coordinate service providers and act as a liaison between customers and providers.
• Manage a caseload of job seekers, provide ongoing employment services, and address individual barriers to employment.
• Document customer interactions in automated systems, maintain case files, and prepare requested reports.

Requirements

• Basic computer literacy, Internet and Microsoft Office proficiency, and mandatory keyboarding skills.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment and travel to customer, training, and employment sites.
• Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting and operating a computer and basic office equipment.
