Business Development Manager

Location: Hybrid in Burlington, Ontario, Canada; travel of up to 50% across North America is expected.

Salary: CAD 95,000–125,000 per year, plus benefits, bonuses, and additional extra-hours payments.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies to identify, target, and acquire new clients.
• Implement lead-generation activities through market research, networking, and outreach.
• Build and nurture prospective client relationships and align services with their business needs.
• Collaborate with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop strategic proposals and support client satisfaction and retention.
• Contribute to company decisions, strategic direction, and a positive work environment.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in sales or account management.
• Strong leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, judgment, analytical thinking, and critical-thinking skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and nurture client relationships.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% across North America.
• Post-secondary education in engineering is preferred.
