Learning Experience Designer

What you will do

• Design and build skill-based learning programs from competencies and learning outcomes through modules, lessons, practice tasks, projects, and assessments.
• Interview subject matter experts and transform their expertise into clear, structured learning content.
• Design scaffolded learning experiences that gradually develop learner independence.
• Use customer development interviews, qualitative feedback, quantitative learning data, and research to validate hypotheses and improve educational products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, subject matter experts, Curriculum Developers, Instructors, and Designers.
• Help evolve learning design standards and best practices across curricula.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Learning Experience Designer or Instructional Designer, with a track record of building complex skill-based programs from scratch.
• English at B2 level or higher and exceptional writing skills.
• Mastery of curriculum mapping, competency-based education, instructional scaffolding, and assessment design.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including interviewing subject matter experts and extracting implicit knowledge.
• Data-informed approach to learning design, using qualitative feedback and quantitative performance data to improve content.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced EdTech or modern product environments.
• Experience with modern learning experience design tools, LMS platforms, and user research methodologies.
• Background in developing technical or highly specialized curricula.
