Instructional Supervisor Virtual Academies

Location: Remote, United States; 5–10% travel required with a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

Base pay: $53,546–$55,000 per year, plus potential incentive, commission, or annual bonus pay.

What you will do

• Supervise, coach, and provide operational support for virtual instructors.
• Manage performance evaluations, corrective actions, hiring recommendations, schedules, and instructional coverage.
• Resolve instructional and operational issues and maintain compliance with policies, documentation requirements, and state standards.
• Conduct observations, performance assessments, data reviews, and professional growth planning.
• Oversee academic and behavioral intervention plans for at-risk secondary students and monitor their effectiveness.
• Prepare instructional performance, attendance, intervention, and compliance reports while collaborating with instructors, clients, support teams, and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education and at least 3 years of teaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience supervising instructional staff, leading teams, or managing educational programs.
• Valid teaching license in at least one state; two or more licenses are preferred. Highly qualified teacher status meeting or exceeding NCLB requirements is required.
• Experience working with secondary at-risk students, strong presentation and communication skills, and demonstrated project planning, data analysis, and execution abilities.
• Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; current fingerprint clearance and willingness to travel 5–10% are required.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of online instruction experience.
• SPED/ELL or school counseling experience.
• Two or more state teaching licenses.
