Accounts Payable Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Remote from a Pacific location in California, or hybrid onsite in Denver or Littleton, Colorado. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD base salary annually.

What you will do

• Process vendor invoices, including coding, approvals, documentation, and weekly ACH, wire, and check disbursements.
• Maintain vendor records, respond to vendor inquiries, and reconcile payables and cash accounts.
• Support acquired-company integration, accounting policy adoption, site procurement teams, and segment controllers.
• Execute and document internal controls and identify process improvements.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare audit documentation, analyses, and responses to auditor requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of general accounting experience.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR and other U.S. government export regulations.

• Accounts payable process experience.
• Experience with multi-entity or subsidiary accounting.
