Application Deployment Engineer

Location: Remote, United States. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States at the time of application; identity and employment eligibility verification is required during onboarding.

What you will do

• Define, plan, and execute application deployment strategies across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Develop deployment scripts and automation tools, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code, including reusable modules and remote state management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, test, and verify deployments while resolving complex issues with development and operations teams.
• Maintain deployment documentation and ensure compliance with release management policies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in application deployment, release management, or related roles.
• Strong experience with deployment automation, continuous integration, hosted environments, and system- and integration-level testing.
• Working knowledge of Terraform modules, state management, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong Windows and Linux skills, including Linux server troubleshooting; RHCSA and RHCE certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
