Azure Ops/AI Engineer (US Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S.

Salary: $131,256–$223,134 annually

What you will do

• Support enterprise AI capabilities, user onboarding, approved Azure services, access management, and platform dependencies.
• Translate AI and application requirements into secure Azure cloud and infrastructure configurations.
• Design and maintain CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as code using tools such as GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery practices.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and production troubleshooting across application, cloud, data, platform, and security teams.
• Support security and compliance activities, including vulnerability remediation, ATO documentation, change control, audits, and operational governance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience supporting data and AI technologies, including cloud-based AI or analytics capabilities.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, identity and access, networking, storage, monitoring, service integration, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and Agile work management.
• Experience with DevSecOps, cloud security, compliance governance, vulnerability remediation, and production troubleshooting in enterprise or federal environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. residence, U.S. work authorization, and the ability to perform all work in the U.S. are required.
• Must satisfy FDIC personnel eligibility and background-investigation requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Azure Synapse.
• Experience with Python, NLP, model serving, inference, data preparation, AWS SageMaker, or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, Fortify, OWASP tools, databases, and observability platforms.
• Experience designing high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions across cloud or hybrid environments.
• Microsoft Azure certifications.
