Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Remote-first role for candidates in Latin America

What you will do

• Design, automate, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
• Support the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud and modernize legacy infrastructure.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software releases.
• Implement monitoring and observability with Datadog and other relevant tools.
• Manage cloud access, identities, permissions, SSL, deployments, and platform security.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of DevOps experience, including 5+ years with GCP and Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and CI/CD, with a primary focus on GCP.
• Experience with Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and Datadog.
• Strong understanding of security, infrastructure as code, containerization, cloud monitoring, and high-load troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical plans and collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft, .NET applications, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of information security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Experience mentoring or leading DevOps engineers.
